Dr. Grigoriy Rozenfeld, DO

Visited the emergency room at Kaiser Clairemont Mesa and I was screaming in pain for hours. I asked Dr. Rozenfeld for an ultrasound and CT scan because I knew that I did not have an ulcer as he had stated. I’ve had ulcers before and this was not an ulcer pain. He prescribed me all the wrong medications and sent me home. I came back 6 hours later and another emergency room doctor redid all my blood work and scheduled a CT scan because I told him I felt like I had appendicitis. Low and behold I was right and he confirmed it after looking at the pictures on the scree. I had appendicitis! I was admitted for an emergency appendix removal. My surgeon said if I had waited a few more hours it could’ve been worse. I’m glad they were diligent in their work because Dr. Rozenfeld just sent me home despite being in so much pain I could barely walk. He also looked annoyed and would walk away while I was in mid sentence. I complained to my nurse that he was standoffish. I dislike doctors that… disregard your concerns and do the bare minimum to figure out your diagnosis. He is rude, and anything but a good doctor. I don’t know how he was assigned to be an emergency room doctor or how he could have missed something so major. Always trust your gut feeling. I’m glad I went back.
