Dr. Grover Cousins Robinson III, MD

Dr. Robinson received his B.S. from Davidson College and his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. He did his internship and residency in Pediatrics in El Paso, Texas. After serving in the army he joined the Pediatric Center in 1977. Since then he has served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at St. Mary's Hospital, Henrico Doctor's Hospital, and the old Richmond Memorial Hospital. He is a past president of the Richmond Pediatric Society and has been Medical Director of the United Methodist Family Services for thirty years. He has also been teaching medical students and pediatric residents from the Medical College of Virginia where he holds an academic appointment as Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. He is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the Richmond Pediatric Society, the Medical Society of Virginia, the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has a special interest in the care of premature infants and adolescents. Dr. …Robinson has been happily married to his wife, Betsy for over 40 years. They have two grown children, both of whom are physicians.
