Dr. Grover Ashton Wells III, MD

Doctor seemed very hurried and did not listen to my complaints. An inaccurate diagnosis was made as I sought care to Montgomery General Surgeon group who made a prompt diagnosis & scheduled me for the surgery needed. I am doing well due to the physician group in Montgomery, AL. I would never recommend him to any relative or friend.

Dr. Wells came in to the ER on his off day to operate on my son's finger. He had a small stick driven through his index finger and we were naturally worried about a lot of things. He was very professional and easy-going with my son. The procedure was successful and we have had no problems since that time. He is an excellent doctor and I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him in the future.

My wife and I have known Dr. Wells all his life and can attest to his character and both of us have undergone surgery by Dr Wells and can attest as to his professional ability. First of all, Dr. Wells is what we consider "unique" as a surgeon in that he really acts as one would expect a personal physician to act, rather than a surgeon. My experience from other surgeons is that they are usually aloff, distant, and not really concerned, not so with Dr. Wells. Dr. Wells, a young surgeon, is a most compassionate, compentent surgeon that has an excellent reputation in our rural community. I would trust Dr. Wells to perform any surgery he feels competent to perform on any member of my family.

Excellent, excellent surgeon. I would recommend Dr. Wells to anyone. I have known Dr. Wells for over 40 years. He is a tremendous asset to our community.

Dr. Wells performed surgery on my wife and me, and we could not have asked for better treatment from start to finish. Our time in the hospital was minimum, and our recovery was speedy and without any complications whatsoever. He followed up with us formally, informally, and I would not hesitate to use him again for either me, my wife or either of our children.

Dr. Ashton Wells has performed major surgery on two members of my family as well as myself and we all three found him to be very caring, professional and through with his surgical skills. I have since recommended Dr A. Wells to friends and other family members for surgery and in doing a follow-up of their medical care have heard only positive feedback. Should I have the need for additional surgery I will not hestate to use Dr. Wells.

He performed the wrong surgery on me and doesn't even care.
