Dr. Guadalupe Hortencia Manriquez, MD

As a pathologist, Dr. Guadalupe Manriquez is an integral part of the patient care team at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA). "Every day I strive to provide the best care to my patients," says Dr. Manriquez. After obtaining a bachelor of science degree in biology at the University of Texas at El Paso in 1979, Dr. Manriquez attended medical school at the University of Minnesota College of Medicine, obtaining her degree in 1986. Dr. Manriquez completed a residency in pathology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1991. She served as an associate professor of pathology at Arizona Health Sciences Center, where she also served as medical director of the coagulation laboratory. Dr. Manriquez is board certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology and is also board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. She has taught numerous courses at medical conferences throughout her career, and is a member of the United …States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists, and the American Society of Hematology. She has presented research at meetings and has co-authored several articles published in academic journals. Dr. Manriquez is fluent in Spanish.
