I called Dr. Rojas to see about getting a refill prescription for my COPD medicine. He said to stop by the next day and pick it up. When I did so, the assistant told me it would be a $35 charge for the written prescription. I'm unemployed, living in a motel, and I have an extra $35 just for Dr. Rojas to write something on a 5x5 piece of paper? Give me a break! I left without the prescription (I get it without charge through Bridges to Access), so I will now cough myself to death.

I went to Dr. Rojas for about a year. It was never a pleasant experience, but it was close to my apartment and the place I work. I have various health problems. All of which he knew about. He kept pushing me to have a child. Just pushing and pushing and pushing. Thank god I didnt. I did not know at the time (because he didnt tell me) that several of my medical problems would have led to my having a very high risk pregnancy. My new Dr. told me that if I get pregnant I could die; my child could die, or at the very least have serious health problems.

Quick story:I got drunk one night and wanted to get tested the next day to make sure I didn't have anything. I have no memory of being with anyone but I wasn't sure.I got STD test and the genital herpes came back positive. I then got tested with two other doctors and the results were negative.I guess what bothers me the most is that he told me the tests were completely accurate and after doing my own research I discovered that no they aren't 100% accurate and if you have no recollection of being with anyone else you should get tested again to verify.

Not really your family Doctor that you can rely on and help you with your medical concerns. The receptionist or medical assistant is not really helpful and they don't forward an answer from the doctor or the doctor doesn't give them an answer to follow up with the patient. They really are an unprofessional service

unprofessional, lacks enthusiasm, referred me to the wrong doctor, doesn't return your phone calls. Find another doctor!
