Dr. Guillermo Bohm, MD

I had an establishment appt with Dr. Bohm and I will never be going back. He constantly interrupted me while I was trying to explain my symptoms and concerns. He seemed totally disinterested and even told me he probably wouldn’t be able to figure out my health issue but would just order bloodwork anyway. He actually told me that I should go outside of the area to find better doctors and research studies. To make things worse, he was totally inappropriate with me. There was no nurse in the room with us during my consultation, and I’m a female and being alone with a male doctor is not acceptable. He commented on how I was dressed and said that I didn’t have to dress to impress him. All I was wearing were jeans and a tank top. I was describing a skin rash that I’ve been having for over a year around my neck and he asked me if the rash was anywhere else other than my neck. While I was answering “no, it is only around my neck” he took his finger and pulled my tank top neckline… down and looked down my top and at my chest. He made me feel totally uncomfortable. This behavior is unacceptable for anyone. This doctor behaves terribly, is totally unprofessional, inappropriate and is honestly just flat out rude. He doesn’t care what you have to say and acts like you are just inconveniencing him. Please take my experience as a caution and go to another doctor.

If you want the unabashed opinion of an experienced specialist you will get it. You might not like the opinion, but I believe he is sharing his vast experience to help each patient make an informed decision about their health. I found that very refreshing.

If you are looking for a dr who thinks he is "Dr House" and you are ok with a treatment plan based on his visual diagnosis that is determined in the first 8 seconds of meeting you (because he doesnt believe in blood tests), and you dont want tospeak during your visit, then this might be the place for you. Dr. Bohm is the WORST "Doctor" I've ever visited . He told me that 85% of his patients are men seeking hormones to become female. I'm sure he is very good at handing out estrogen to non binary patients, but as far as serious hormonal issues, I would try another Dr. I cant believe that a doctor could get this many bad reviews dating back over 10 years, but there is such a demand for endocrinologists, that the offices that employs him (as their #3 or #4 endocrinologist) continues to do so for patients not willing to wait the 2-3 month wait time to see every other endocrinologist locally. His wait time is 1-2 weeks, which says A LOT! ALL of these people cant be wrong and after 1… visit with him, its obvious the positive reviews are being created by the dr in an attempt to dilute the amount of negative feedback . However, I can see how a patient that is recieving hormones to change their sexuality , could leave a positive review and would consider him better than the other Drs who were not willing to administer this type of medications After meeting the Dr, I am pretty sure he is also taking feminine hormones. He is not in touch with reality nor does he have the patients best interests in mind. His original license is from South America and quite honestly I question its integrity. If you're still not convinced, just google the good drs name and find his arrest recordS.

He is nasty, sometimes condescending and the very best endocrinologist in SW Florida. He straight to the point, a numbers man and doesn't suffer fools easily. If you want a straight shooter, he's your man.

Took my daughter for first appt. He is the rudest person I have ever met. He yelled at and degraded my daughter to the point of tears. Seemed to get enjoyment from making people cry. When I started to explain some of her problems I was told to SHUTUP !! till he was ready to talk to me. Gave my daughter medication that needed following up closely (never happened) the choice of medication and lack of testing, literally put her in hospital. He said hospitals are useless and causes worse health problems. He does not come to or send associates to see patients in hospital.Please stay away from him. He said to SNEAK IN MY own Meds because you cant rely on care in hospitals ( Lee Memorial and Gulfcoast )

Doctor Bohm has been the only doctor that properly diagnosed my thyroid problem and cares for my overall health concerns. I don’t know what I would do without him.

All pf the one and two star comments are right. He is rude, arrogant and insulting. Not only was he uneducated with his information but I think he may have multiple personalities. Some visits were worse than others and none were good. The best thing I ever did was find a new doctor.

I have been a diabetic patient of Dr Bohm for about 20 years. At first I thought I would not like him because of the way he tried to intimidate me but being a retired Police Officer I am not intimidated easily. He has helped me very much. I just need to his location so he can continue being my Doctor.

Dr. Bohm has been my endocrinologist for 9 years. Easily he's been the best one. He's knowledgeable about the symptoms, test ranges, side effects, and treatments... MUCH better than other endocrinologists I'd previously used. I've had Hashimotos for 21 years. I had only average doctoring until 2009 when I found Dr. Bohm. I'm so thankful for his support & compassion, in addition to his obvious knowledge of thyroid issues.

Dr. Bohm has provided incredible service and the results have been phenomenal. My Diabetes is under control and has been with his guidance for over three years. He as always been clear and direct with me - a quality I real appreciate. As I used to say to my subordinates...It Is What It Is! He doesn't play around with treatment - he is very direct and I greatly appreciate it! How good is a doctor that gets your diabetes under control. Can't ask for anymore!
