Dr. Guillermo P Gubbins, MD

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a health professional. Dr. Gubbins was rude, he made me feel very uncomfortable, to the point that I had to get up and leave the office. I do not understand how this man continues to exercise, a doctor with a temperament like his should not work with patients. He was very unprofessional. I hope his patients realized it before undergoing any treatment with him.

Complete confidence in him.

Their staff is charging me for services never provided, claiming the appointment was never cancelled and I was a no show. I did call several times to cancel but they were too busy to answer or were out at the moment and had a message and now they persist with the intimidation charges.

He will degrade you and mock you even when you are suffering

I have been a patien od Dr Gubbins for the last 5 years when I moved here from Houston, Texas. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to listen to his patients. He explains everything so you can understand the diagnosis. His office staff is also amazing and very cooperative! My husband is also a patient of Dr Gubbins and is very pleased with the treatment he has received there! I would highly recommend Dr Gubbins for all your gastro needs.

Dr. Gubbins is a very knowledgeable physician. He’s caring and takes his time with each of his patients. He has great bedside manners. His office is amazing Maritza his office manager it’s great too very good at what she does has lots of patience with all of the patients you see how she interacts with them and how sweet and caring she is. Amy is also great. That office runs very smoothly.

After waiting an one and a half to see him he refused to see me because I had visited another gastroenterologist. I advice him I didn’t have a good experience with my prior doctor and he said he doesn’t work like that. He needs to see me from the beginning and even told me to go look for another gastroenterologist. He treated me like if I had leper and told his assistant to not book appointments if they have been with a prior gastroenterologist. Unbelievable person, very disgusted with his arrogance.

I have beeb a patient of Dr. Gubbins for quite a few years. I cannot emphasize enough the knowledge and humanitarian qualities of this doctor. His professionalism and courtesy are remarkable. This is the physician that goes above and beyond his call of duty for his patients. He takes his time with patients and always encourages us to ask questions in reference to the medical condition, meds, etc. I would not change Dr. Gubbins for any other G.I. specilast. His staff complements him and are a mirror of his professional ethics. They are always wliing to help, respond questions and all is done in a timely courteous manner. I am a patient of Dr Gubbins and wouldn't go anywhere else. I began seeing Dr Gubbins in 2003, I was treated for gastritis and gerd. Dr Gubbins was kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. He was very diligent to answer all questions and explain the necessity of procedures. First and most importantly he is an excellent clinician, but as a bonus he has a special calm and warm demeanor not always found today in medicine. He listens intently to everything I relate, considers all aspects of every symptom and is tireless in his search for a cause and a successful treatment regimen. Maritza and the rest of the staff is friendly, respectful and they make everything go smoothly. I wouldn't go anywhere else!. You might have to be patient getting someone on the phone for your appointment but it is only because they are so busy. Primero y lo más importante, es un excelente clínico, pero como extra tiene una actitud calmada y especial que no siempre se encuentra en la medicina. Él escucha atentamente todo lo que relaciono, considera todos los aspectos de cada síntoma y es incansable en su búsqueda de una causa y un régimen de tratamiento exitoso. Maritza y el resto del personal es amable, respetuoso y hacen que todo vaya bien. Yo no iría a ningún otro lugar !. Es posible que tenga que ser paciente para llamar a alguien por teléfono, pero es solo porque están muy ocupados.
