He introduced intralesional bleomycin sclerotherapy in Boston, which is used to treat microcystic lymphatic malformations and vascular anomalies of the airway and orbit. He identified the imaging features that differentiate lymphatic anomalies of bone, with significant implications for prognosis and treatment. Currently, in partnership with the Wyss Institute, he is working on the development of a new vascular embolic agent.
