Dr. Gunjan Mittal, MD

In Dec, 2022, I became quite ill and tested positive for COVID at home. I called Dr. Mittal’s office to request a prescription for Paxlovid. The receptionist said that I must talk to Dr. Mittal before she will write the script. When Dr. Mittal returned my call that afternoon, I had lost my voice and whispered my diagnosis and request for Paxlovid. The entire call lasted for 2-3 mins. Dr. Mittal faxed the prescription to the pharmacy. Several weeks later, I was stunned to learn that she had billed my insurance company a whopping $150. Insurance paid almost half and I was responsible for $80+ dollars. This feels like price gauging. I have since changed doctors. My new doctor does not charge for this service. (I specifically asked.) Potential patients of Dr. Mittal should be aware. What happened to me will happen to them.

I had seen Dr.Mittal for many years as a teenager and young adult. Although I was always able to be seen, I learned that I could not trust her judgement when it came to injuries and my care. There were many occasions that she downplayed my symptoms until I resorted to going to the ER where it was learned that my injury/symptoms were far more serious than she had judged them to be. She is a mediocre doctor.

Dr. Mittal has been my daughters doctor for several years now...No matter what we have needed over the years, whether it be a physical for sports, an urgent appointment for broken bones, or an emergency referral for surgery, Dr. Mittal and her assistant, Gina, make it happen for us! So professional and caring and they go the extra mile for us!

i've been going to dr.'s forever. never needed them till now. dr mittal is the best . If she can't do it she put you on to the most qualified dr's there are. i'm i in stage 4 lung cancer and she has acutally saving my life with the knowledge of dr's she knows. She has wengt above and beond.

I'm incredibly disappointed with Dr Mittal. She doesn't listen to our concerns. In fact there are serious health concerns with myself and my children that Dr Mittal refuses to address. The latest is with my daughter, experiencing severe abdominal pain that has lasted over a month. Dr Mittal finally ran some tests, but only because I insisted, but she ordered the tests to check for things that are unrelated to her pain. Then she left town without providing the results and sent me a letter claiming she refuses to treat my family any longer. This means my daughter is still in pain, still undiagnosed, and now doesn't have any dr to care for her. We are military, and we can't just go to another doctor. I should have followed my gut instincts and found another doctor months ago. Now I'm a mom, that is grieved at the prospect of something seriously wrong with my daughter, and no way to find her the immediate care she needs.

went in for new patient checkup and dr mittal was wonderful,good bedside manner,caring and listens. her nurse as well is a sweethart and very professional asset to office. i highly recommend her as a physician
