I would suggest, if you care about your general wellbeing, to avoid this doctor (more like a brain dead, drug pusher) at all costs. There are far better psychiatrists--not many, but they do exist--out there if you do your research. Believe me when I say that you do not want someone with so little regard for others to manage your mental and emotional wellbeing.

Dr. Gunvant Thaker was cold and responsive. He showed no empathy or willingness to get to know me. He prescribed me a medication that caused mania and then did not call back after I left an emergency message where I explained the situation. I understand doctors are busy and dealing with a lot of patients but he never called back and when I finally got a hold of him he seemed apathetic. He is in it for profit only. There is no compassion or bedside manner. He didn't spend any time getting to know me or learning about my situation and medicinal needs. Be careful allowing him to prescribe you medicine. He is not efficiently knowledgable when it comes to pharmacology. You would be safer seeking another doctor.

I had an appt with this Doctor, My autistic son had an emergency at school where the social worker needed my help immediately. I DI'd call to explain what happen during the crises but this doctor was completely unflexible..mind you I had documentation from the school to explain I was dealing with a major crisis with my autistic son ..This was my first appt ...my son is also a patient of brooklane for 2 years and I have excellent track record for his appts kept ..but this guy had a zero tolerance for the 24 hr cancelation and refused to understand emergencies do happen even with documented proof. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMMEND
