Gurkirat Sidhu, MD, builds his medicine practice on partnership. He believes the best outcomes happen when physicians and patients work together, not when patients are simply told what to do.

Gurkirat Sidhu, MD, is an Internal Medicine physician whose path to medicine is rooted in a deeply personal experience when his mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. He watched his family navigate a medical system that can feel overwhelming and confusing at its most difficult moments. That experience never left him, and it became the driving force behind his decision to pursue medicine. He wanted to ensure that no patient or family would feel misguided or alone while facing a serious diagnosis.

Dr. Sidhu’s is passionate about preventive care and chronic disease management, with a particular focus on conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and weight-related health concerns. He understands that meaningful, lasting health improvements rarely come from overhauling …everything at once, instead, he helps patients identify consistent, manageable changes that add up to tremendous results over a lifetime.

What Dr. Sidhu enjoys most about primary care is getting to know the person behind the medical chart. Every patient brings different experiences, priorities, and goals to a visit, and understanding those things is, in his view, an essential part of delivering truly good care. The continuity of long-term patient relationships, watching someone improve and grow through different stages of life, is what he finds most fulfilling about his work.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sidhu stays active through strength training and golf. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family on the lake, cooking and grilling, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
