Dr. Gurmukteshwar Singh, MD

Dr. Singh is a board-certified and fellowship-trained nephrologist. His clinical interests include management of chronic kidney disease as well as resistant hypertension and electrolyte abnormalities; metabolic workup for kidney stones; acute intermittent and continuous renal replacement therapy; immunosuppression and post-transplant medical management of renal transplant patients; and hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care. His research interests include morbidity/mortality risk prediction in renal patients and effective physician/patient communication. Dr. Singh attended Government Medical College - Punjab University in India, where he earned his medical degree. He then moved to the United States, where he completed his residency and fellowship at Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Singh is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in nephrology. He speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi.
