Gurumeenal Krishnan

My cardiologist is very dedicated to her profession, and shows in many ways that she genuinely cares about her patients. Her standard of care is the best.

Thus was my first appointment with Dr. Krishnan having had to find a replacement for my regular cardiologist. I was very impressed with her knowledge, experience a and attention to details of my health history. She had a very friendly manner, listened to my questions and concerns and answered them thoroughly. I'm very happy I chose Dr. Krishnan to be my new cardiologist.

This is the best provider I can imagine. She obviously cares for her patients, but I also rate her so highly because she takes time to explain and answer questions. She is never rushed or makes you feel embarrassed. As a result, she is always late for appointments, but I'm aware of this and am happy to wait. On the other hand, there is one receptionist who is exceptionally rude. I come annually and she always finds a way to insert herself into interactions or be critical or hostile. This year she actually stopped me from leaving by yelling at me and accusing me of needing to check with the front desk first when the nurse had ESCORTED ME OUT TO ANOTHER FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE WHO CHECKED ME OUT and told me I was free to go. We both found it necessary to tell her that I had been cleared already before she stopped harassing me, it was unprofessional in the extreme, not just to me, the patient, but also to her fellow coworker. She is the reason this practice does not score a 10.

An excellent cardiologist. I'm so glad that she is there to help me get to be the best that I can be!

Dr. Guru Meenal Krishnan is a very good doctor. Problem is that she seems to be seeing too many patients. The wait for being called in and the time she finally sees me is very long - at least 30 minutes from waiting area, another 15 minutes for her to see me. This happens in every visit.
