Dr. Gus Dixon, MD

Dr. Dixon used to be a good doctor. At my last visit he was yelling at me and I felt that he was having a meltdown. I was honestly concerned about his mental health. He was also yelling at his daughter who works in the office and his secretary. This unprofessional treatment by a mental health care provider help me make the decision to never see him as a psychiatrist again.I hope he re-evaluates what he is doing with his career because he is emotionally unstable with outbursts of anger.

After multiple visits my primary care physician recommend me to another doctor and I could be happier. Dr. Dixon is a fraud.

Dr. Dixon asked me to call him to let him know how the medication was working for me.While I was describing my experience he proceeded to tell me that I had a very irritating voice.I went to this man for help with depression and self-esteem issues. I can't believe the unprofessionalism and mean spirited nature of this jerk.

This man should have his medical license removed. He was rude, aggresive, he lied about his fee.

I've been seeing Dr Dixon for over ten years. he really knows his stuff, especially the medications. and he has a good sense of humor thats lifted my spirits more than once.

The doc has an impressive amount of experience and knowledge in the field of Psychiatry and Psychopharmocology. He is also very good at figuring out what medication will work well for each individual. There is sometimes a wait before patients are seen, but I personally believe that it is worth it.

This guy is scary. When I expressed reluctance to take a certain medicine he prescribed, he said he could put me in a mental hospital where they would spoon feed me my medicine every day if I was too scared to take it. I could not believe he said this. I was in tears. How could a dr. say such a thing to someone feeling fragile? Beware. He also wanted to give me more advice on filing a lawsuit against a contractor then he did about my medical condition. It was inappropriate and upsetting. Find another psychiatrist.

Dr. Dixon is great. He has so much experience in treating patients. All of the doctors at his practice are wonderful. And the secretaries are very nice and helpful.
