Dr. Gus George Gialamas

ago Dr. Gialamas is the most dedicated surgeon I have ever met. Because of another doctors mistake, I was left hopeless. Dr. Gialamas agreed to take me on. A few days before Christmas, an emergency happened because of mistakes from my old doctor. He flew back to California to work on me for 6 hours and then flew back to his family. I was taken back by his selflessness and love for me. I am forever indebted to this surgeon!

Worst doctor I ever encountered. After waiting 45/minutes he came in for 2 minutes, after I told him my knee was still in not right, he already had the MIR report, never mention it, just came back with a injection and for pain, as he was leaving, he rather loudly, so everybody could hear, he does not believe in narcotic meds, well I don’t believe in pain. Now i had to make another appointment so he can tell me what the MRI found. Never again.

I waited over an hour to spend less than 15 minutes in the exam, which included the time to get the X-rays done! Time with the doctor was about 5 minutes. Dr. Gialamas completely misdiagnosed my knee condition (which turned out to be a torn meniscus). He thought it was a patella issue and gave me an elastic sleeve to wear (for which he charged $100) and sent me on my way. During the visit, he wouldn't even answer my questions. Very non-communicative and did no hands-on exam at all. He simply relied on an X-ray to reach his false conclusion. The orthopedist I saw after Dr. Gialamas moved my leg in various positions to determine what was causing the pain and then sent me for an MRI to confirm his findings. If I had followed Dr. Gialamas' diagnosis, I could have potentially caused more damage to my knee!

The most unhelpful staff there could possibly be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Front desk and when you need help, they hang up on you!

Dr. G was awesome with my 12 year old, the staff is friendly and we were in and out quickly.

My son injured his leg playing football and we were able to see Dr. Gialamas right away. His team was professional and courteous as usual but Dr Gialamas needs to take a course on patient communications. He was rude and dismissive to both me and my son. My son was made to feel like his accident was his fault and he did something wrong. Dr. Gialamas terrified my 11 year old with unnecessary information about the worse case scenario operation he may have to have and how bloody the procedure can be, way to much info for an 11 year old. He may be a good surgeon but his bedside manner is less than appealing.

Dr. G has been generous with his time, knowledge, and care. He has a sterling reputation, and for good reason.Professional and expert - what more do you want in a surgeon?

Dr. Gialamas has performed surgery on me twice now with outstanding results. His staff is competent, courteous and professional. Additionally, he repaired my daughter's ACL when she was a Freshman in high school. She went on to play on full scholarship for a PAC 10 school. I highly recommend Dr. Gialamas for any orthopedic needs.

I have played many years of football at the collegiate level and beyond. I have had fourteen operations as a result. Dr. G has consulted and performed 2 operations. I recommend him as the best I have ever had. I am back lifting getting in great shape because of his repair of my knee.
