Dr. Gustavo Arturo Mondragon, MD

Dr Gustavo has immediately solved my problems with great understanding. My several previous pcp's were not. All of the assistants here were very nice also. Nicole is awesome!

Dr Gustavo Mondragón is a cardiologist but, also a primary care physician. As a primary care he has made one bad call after another with a chronic abdominal pain patient allowing her condition to worsen unabated , even suggesting depression and prescribing her anti depressants and saying, “she’s depressed, she’s a woman.” This chronic pain had always been due to a cancerous growth and through his negligence has become advanced to a life threatening stage cancer as per diagnosed by an independent medical group. When calling Dr Mondragón concerning his patient he said he was a cardiologist and didn’t know the patient. He was not interested in hearing what we needed to tell him and kept trying to rush us off the phone and instead insulted the Independent medical group’s findings. My personal opinion of Dr Mondragón is that he lacks compassion, bed side manor, intuition, interest in patients and overall bored or tired or burnt out.

This doctor does not care about his patients he is too busy sleeping during visits in the office and at the hospital it is a fact.

Normal wait time to see this dr is 2 to 3 hours according to his staff. In reality, it is 3 to 4 hours. Even the rating about does not have a drop down arrow for more than 1 hour. I called to ask the staff why make an appt if you would end up waiting 3 to 4 hrs every time you make an appt, response is, ohh, that's just our normal procedure. Now, I asked her if she actually have made a dr appt and waited for 3 hrs to be seen.
