Dr. Gustavus A Rush, MD

I fell and shattered my ankle in 2011 Dr Rush performed surgery and had to put 2 plates, a rod and 8 screws in it. Over a period of 8 years, 1 of the screws had backed out. So he had to go back in and remove it and 1 of the plates. He did a wonderful job. I would recommend him to anyone. not only good work, but also good bed side manners.

Such a wonderful bedside manner! I traveled from Out-of-state to have my Kneecap repaired and it was well worth waiting for the ease of the experience!

My husband and I have been under his car the last three weeks...together! He had Rotator Cuff repair and I had a bulging disk and crack in my spine.The office staff were so kind to accommodate both of us at the same time. Dr. Sonny allowed us duo-visits which really helped both of us in this handicapped position. A wheel chair as well as 'pushing" staff helped us in and out. The curb side entrance really helped. Both of us are doing great and looks like both of us will get released next week...at same time and same visit! Thank you to all the reception crew as well as Dr. Sonny's great in-house staff!!!!!!!

The best (Doc.-Friend -Care Giver) a patient could have . I've had three surgeries, also both of sons have been a patient,thanks to Doc. Rush and staff.

Amazing doctor with great nurses

Great man and Doctor! He holds God, Family and Practice in the top of his life. He has a great staff of Dawn, Glenda, and Jo...these are on the inside...outside in waiting room are angels that make your wait short and sweet! They have really gone to great lengths to get you in and be seen in as short of time possible. I have had 4 leg operations in the last 3 years so I know what a waiting room is! Dr. Rush's bedside manner is like he is a valued family friend. You never feel a divide between the doctor/patient...You are his friend and are treated as such. Surgery was almost fun....the hospital staff are the best ever. All of the floor nurses are tops also. I never thought I could say that I enjoyed surgery...but I did with all the fine nursing care. Thank you for being my Doctor!!!!!!!!
