Dr. Guy Mertz grew up in Rochester, Minnesota. He graduated from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry in 1985. After graduation he moved to Longmont to begin practicing dentistry. He opened at his current location in 1995. Dr. Peter Mertz joined him in practice the summer of 2000. Dr. Mertz has received advanced training in CEREC and has received Certified Laser Training for LARES POWERLASE. Dr. Mertz gives back to the community doing volunteer work for The Sunshine Club and Colorado Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicap. When he is not in the office you can find Dr. Mertz on the golf course. He has won the City of Longmont golf tournament twice and in 2010 won The Senior State Match Play Tournament. Dr. Mertz lives in Longmont with his wife, Marleeta and they have two college-aged children.
