Dr. Guy E Nicolas, MD

I've been going to Dr. Nicholas for over 20 years. He has a wealth of knowledge on all topics. He's empathetic without being condescending. He can make an awkward diagnosis seem palatable in the overall scheme of life. Most importantly he listens to your concerns. I highly recommend him to any and everyone.

Guy has been our PCP for years now. I fully trust his judgement and respect his honesty. He is mild mannered, well educated and a very easy physician to discuss my medical condition with. More doctors should be like Dr. Nicolas.

I am in with this office for around 20 years (when they moved, I moved with them). Never rush you, taking the time to explain any question I have. The practice always take time to remind you when you are due for next check up. Dr. Nicolas really take time with you and he is outstanding Dr. I recommend him and his practice. All my family had record with this office in the past. Father and my three adult now children.

Dr. Nicolas is an extremely good doctor. He always makes sure that I understand what my care should be and he allows me to asks as many questions and I need. I never feel rushed.

Not sure why there are negative reviews about him. I would give him a 5 and his office a 3 or 4. Yes, it's sometimes hard to find an appointment within one or two weeks, but it seems to be a widespread issue with family practitioner's generally. I've seen him once, and upon my initial visit he took the time to ask me several questions, evaluate me, and get to know me. I didn't feel very rushed at all with him.

Very caring manner. Calmly listens while you describe your reason for visit. Cooperative in assisting with complex insurance referrals forms and online referral requirements.

Ever since Dr. Nicolas moved his office a few doors down he has not been the same doctor. My last two visits he seems he doesn't care like he use to. I even feel rushed. His office staff has always been bad nothing has changed. Perhaps maybe their attitude is rubbing off onto Dr. Nicolas. I will be changing doctors. Dr. Nicolas maybe its time to change some of your staff?

I have seen Dr. Nicolas several times and each time is worse than the last. It is very difficult to get an appointment and once you do get one he is always running late. On several occasions I have tried to call for an appointment and no one answers the phone. When seeing Dr. Nicolas I always feel rushed and he doesnt seem to be very interested in helping me.

The staff continually loses paperwork, and they do not adequately inform patients of scheduling issues or properly fill out referrals, among other things. The doctor is dismissive and more worried about saving his own license than helping patients who are in pain or need his help as a health professional. Perhaps he should repeat his Hippocratic oath or find another profession.
