Dr. Gwen Szwarc Hanson, MD

We feel lucky that we found Dr. Hanson. She listens deeply, is responsive to requests / concerns and provides great holistic care and guidance.

I have been seeing Dr Hanson for over 3 years and have remarked to my colleagues about how different her office is. She spends more face time with me than I am used to in our visits, preferring to keep her own records at the time of visits, inputting as we talk, asking follow-up questions connected with our previous visits, even if they were months previous and sometimes sends me articles and links related to my situation afterwards. Her referrals for lab tests and specialists are always in-network with my insurance, which I appreciate! She is a fine doctor and I recommend her highly.

I would highly recommend Dr Gwen Hanson although she does not take any new patients. She is the most caring MD I have ever experienced. She spends a lot of time with her patients and you feel never rushed.She is experienced in managing both acute and chronic disease and will look for alternatives to medication if possible and prescribes medication responsibly. She responds promptly to phone messages and it is easy to schedule an appointment with her via the internet.

The diagnosis is not accurate so that I had to spend time visiting another doctors and figure things out.

Great doctor, Hansen takes the time to listen, she has excellent bedside manner. There is no staff; she is a one-woman-show. Hansen does everything including the billing. She also gives you her cell phone number in case of an emergency. Most efficient doctor I have seen.
