Dr. Gwen Nguyen Ngo

Dr. Ngo does not interact with her patients. She talks constantly with the dental hygienist about random topics. She is aggressive and has no bedside manner. She treats patients poorly and she is rude. I mentioned going to an orthodontist for Invisalign. Dr. Ngo harshly stated that I could not afford Invisalign and should just get classic braces. I was a teenage at the time. That was the first time she ever mentioned braces and I had seen her for about 2 years. Go to a dentist that will respect you.

I agree with the review above, the man that schedules appointments is very nice and helpful. He had flexible times and plenty of orthodontists that he recommended for me. The dentist, however, is just evil. She does not interact with her patients at all and just talks so much while working on a patient's teeth. Her job is not to sit there and jab the needle while gossiping about coworkers, friends, or random celebrities. While I was in the chair, I felt uncomfortable as she did not even give me novocaine and I was cringing the entire time. She saw my face completely in pain and did ask me if I was ok. I said no and she continued to not provide me with medication and almost broke my tooth. She judges her patients too critically and tells us things that we already know is wrong with our teeth. I go to her in order to get check ups and cleanings, not to be criticized for my bite and teeth overall. My experience with her is just horrible every time. No wonder I don't even bother to come… see her every 6 months, I can't even handle her for that long period of time.

I only like the asian man who makes the appointments. He's so nice. The dentist though, is rude and insensitive. All she does is gossip while she works on her patients teeth. Several of my friends go here and they feel the same way. She isn't focused doing her job, she cannot tell that her patients are in pain. I was making faces of discomfort and she continued to poke at my gums to the point I felt like i had to sit up. All she does is complain about my teeth. WELL I HOPE SHE KNOWS, THAT THE REASON WHY SHE HAS PATIENTS IS BECAUSE THEY NEED HER HELP. she shouldn't be sitting here complaining about my teeth when I took the initiative to FIND A DENTIST. I don't to pay her to hear her gossip and make me feel bad about my teeth.
