Dr. Gwen Allison Pearlman, DO

I don't know if Dr. Pearlman is a good doctor or not, because I never got the chance to meet her. What I do know is that Jill in the front desk is terrible and is perhaps the biggest reason why this "medical office" has such terrible reviews. I made the appointment about a month ago because I haven't been feeling well and needed to see an endo asap, I just moved to the area so I don't have a go to doctor. All the doctors were booked up but Dr. Pearlman had availability (I now know why), and so I decided to wait a month. I had read the reviews and was prepared, so much so that I made sure to communicate with Jill and do everything she asked for. My appointment was today Thursday at 10:15 am. When I made the appointment Jill asked me to take my blood work, and to print out all the paperwork she sent me (which should be provided by Dr. Pearlman in the office - red flag#1) and bring it to my appointment. On Tuesday (2 days ago), Jill called me and told me that she would email me the… paperwork and that I had to print it and bring it in otherwise I wouldn't be seen, she also said I had to be 30 mins early, and that I had to provide the blood work (which I emailed her after the call), and lastly she confirmed my appointment. The day before my appointment (Wednesday) I had my ringer on in case she called and checked my phone constantly, since I read the reviews about appointments getting cancelled the day before. Last night at midnight (the night before my appointment) I check my email, and I have an email from Jill at 10:10 am telling me that if I didn't call to confirm my appointment before noon it would be cancelled. She expected me to be checking my email, and gave me 2 hours to do that and call her. Why didn't she call me like she did the day before? and why did I have to re-confirm my appointment if I had done so the day before? Honestly I totally get why they receive all the negative reviews, it's as if they don't want to see patients, which honestly is dangerous because people are relying on them to get better. I had to wait a month to see Dr. Pearlman and realistically with the holidays starting next week I won't get in to see a doctor until the new year and I am sure it will probably take months to get on someone's calendar. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, and Jill - you are terrible!!!

THS through the roof & T4 very low … showed lab work & was given levothyroxine, dosage taken prior & shocked my system creating an adrenal crisis. Not recommended to anyone with thyroid issues. This doctor is very narrow minded regarding any issues a patient might have.

This doctor is more concerned with getting home than with her patient's health. Her staff is unbelievably callous. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Love Dr Pearlman. Have been seeing her for years.Great doctor. really cares about me. She looks after me.

Don't waste your time and money going to see her - find someone else! Dr. Perlman was very smug and dismissed my symptoms as something all women would have over age 50. Luckily for me I went to see a second endocrinologist and I am now being treated properly.

I feel she cares more about making money than caring for patients. If you cancel with a weeks notice 4 times in she drops you as a patient and her records are not accurate or well kept.

Too long to wait , just ridiculous !!!!!!!!!

Bedside manner is rude and dismissive, always looks to labs rather than symptoms. Rarely calls you back if you have any questions, Receptionist very rude , do yourself a favour and FIND ANOTHER DOC

doctor not up to date with technology and rude do your self favor find someone else

Dr. Pearlman has her own private practice now. She cares about her patients and gives everyone as much time as they need. She is very thorough.
