“Hearing loss runs in my family so I have always been surrounded by people with hearing loss my whole life. I have sensorineural hearing loss myself and have worn hearing aids since I was nine years old. I never expected to make this into my career until I shadowed my own audiologist during my senior year of college. I then realized how much of a difference I could make in another patient’s life just like my own audiologists did for me. I took what makes me different and turned it into one of my strengths as an audiologist.”
