f I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Jho performed his “minimally invasive” neck surgery on me several years ago. It was the most painful experience of my life. As they were getting ready to move me from the recovery room, the nurse whispered “I’m going to give you the rest of this pain medicine here, because they won’t give you any more.” And she was right. I lay in bed all night in agony, crying and holding my neck. I got maybe 2 low dose pain pills. We asked the nurse to contact the doctor for more pain meds. She said there was no point, because that doctor never prescribed enough pain medicine. They sent me home with a couple days worth of pain meds, which was not nearly enough. I ended up in the ER. The doctors there were appalled at how little pain control I was given. And Dr. Jho’s office didn’t even bother to schedule a follow up appointment or to even call to see how I was doing. They clearly didn’t care. And the surgery didn’t help at all. The positive reviews on… his website can only be the result of throwing out the bad reviews and choosing the good ones. They claim those reviews were based on a patient questionnaire. I never received one.

I have had back problems most of my adult life but something had changed. I was losing my ability to walk. I was referred to Dr. Jho and he told me I needed surgery. I had extremely severe spinal stenosis in one area and severe spinal stenosis in another. I was very afraid of spinal surgery but my PCP told me Dr. Jho has "golden hands". That was a perfect description of him. Had I gone to another surgeon, I would have had a spinal fusion. With Dr. Jho and his minimally invasive surgery, I was able to walk the same day as the surgery. The surgery and recovery were much easier than I anticipated. His staff is wonderful and I would especially like to thank Patrick for always taking my calls and answering my many questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Jho and this practice to anyone and I thank you, Dr. Jho, Patrick, and all for your help.

My husband was all lined up to have major back surgery on his cervical spine that would have taken away 50% of the mobility in his neck by installing several pins and rods with two 5 1/2 “ incisions. Instead, through Dr. Jho’s minimally invasive surgery he hasn’t lost any mobility and has only a 1 1/2 “ scar with no hardware! The process was smooth and Dr. Jho and staff ( especially Phillip) were helpful and attentive!! Will definitely go back if needed in the future!!

Dr Jho has exceptional skill and knowledge. He utilizes high tech to do amazing work. He tells you if he can or cannot correct your problem. He constantly works to improve on his minimally invasive procedure.

Dr. Jho is an exceptional doctor and his approach places the patient's best interest at the forefront. Dr. Jho removed a cervical bone spur that was compressing my spinal cord and causing myelopathy. I was home within 2 hours of having the surgery and never looked back. The worst part of the recovery was the normal wound healing process. I am extremely thankful that I found Dr. Jho before I had a disc arthroplasty, which I had been scheduled to have done. Of note - Dr. Jho is a quiet/reserved person. He's a man of few words and that's just who he is and there is nothing wrong with that. You will receive world class care from him. His PAs do most of the follow up.

He is very professional and always put patient's benefit at top of the list & he cares for patient wholeheartedly. My husband has a brain tumor and the surgery has been done in Jul 2018. It is almost 5 weeks after the surgery now, and he is recovering in an amazing speed. All symptoms are improving: his double vision is gone, he can walk with little assistance (he was on wheelchair before the surgery), he can eat and drink as a normal person (he choked very often when eating, & can only drink with THICKEN UP power added), his dizziness & ringing in ear are improving, his abilities for self-management is also improving ... Dr Jho not only taking care my husband, but also the family in many ways. We are so lucky to have such a great doctor to do the surgery for my husband.

I have had four cervical endoscopic procedures with Dr. Jho since 2010. I can tell you that if you are respectful of and trust him, he will return the same to you! From the beginning, he has never promised that one will be 100% but with patience you will be able to lead a normal life. As with any surgery, there are always risks. Dr. Jho will tell you what they are and then you make your own decision. He does not take surgery lightly. I had been given the option of fusions through other surgeons but am so glad I chose this procedure instead. Fusions are tough on the body and often done many times over. I have one more bone spur to go as Dr. Jho is careful and only works on one at a time unless absolutely necessary. I am trying to give my body healing time and manage my pain until I know it is time again. Dr. Jho truly cares about his patients. My four star rating is due to wanting a bit better communication by all involved but I am very blessed to have found this practice! I… have not been coerced by anyone on Dr Jho's staff but offering my own humble opinion.

In 2005 I was rear ended by a Tractor Trailer. I experienced crushing neck and head pain. Two years of seeing neurologists and orthopedics surgeons, including the Cleveland clinic, without any idea of how to fix me. I was then referred to Dr. Jho. Dr. Jho free of charge reviewed all my test results. One of his surgeons called me with another test to have done. That test pointed out the problem. They scheduled me for an appointment on Monday and did the first surgery the next day and the second surgery 4 months later. Dr. Jho told me I should get 70-80% pain relief but did have permanent nerve damage. I got 75% pain relief and went back to work. I went to Dr. Jho to get better and I did. He is a great surgeon. He is Korean and sees America as the country of great opportunity. His manner may offend if you are looking to be offended. Go there looking to be better. If he can help you he will. If not he will tell you.
