Dr. Hai Phuc Dang, MD

I was referred to Dr. Dang by my regular physician and all my MRI, XRays and data was sent to Dr. Dang and, then I had to wait 10 days for an appointment. My husband and I drove 60 miles from where we live, arrived one hour early and then ---> we waited, and waited but the office was closed with nobody there. After an hour past my appointment time, some staff showed up at this office and let us in. And we discover that Dang isn't going to be there and it's not really his office it's just his answering service. What kind of fly-by-night crap is this? I would've expected a more responsible back alley drug dealer and, this man is a Doctor. I never went back and I count it a good thing, he'll never cut on me, I'd come closer to making a trip to Mexico and roll dice.

I had a very brutal experience with Dr. Dang in 2016. I was inpatient at the time and they took out my surgically placed jejunostomy tube and place a very large gastronomy tube in the tract. To make the tube fit, he had to cut my skin and left me with terrible deep scarring. I had to go back to my surgeon to get it repaired. I had another bad instance with Dr. Dang earlier this year (2018). My PEG tube that was supposed to be surgically removed in the OR was pulled out by Dr. Dang in the cath lab under no anesthesia. I since developed an infection and two abscesses in the tract that caused me to spend almost a month in the hospital. Now that tube has since broken and I was told I had to go back to Dr. Dang to get it replaced. That took another month of waiting for the orders to get situated. I'm glad to have someone here for me for these procedures, but after today I will not be back and hopefully I can find another doctor who can get the tube I need without all the hassle and pain… that comes with Kingwood Medical Center Cath Lab and Dr. Dang.

Excellent physician! I highly recommend him.
