Dr. Hai Tuan Luong, DO

Worst doctor I have ever been to. I have never written a review like this. He was dismissive, condescending and rude. Compared neck issue to Americans being lazy, drinking alcohol, eating process foods and not exercising. None of which apply to me. Offered absolutely no recommendations, except that I need to reset my expectations which is to expect to be in pain all day every day. Waste of time and money.

Lacks compassion, Lacks insight My impression was if your treatment does not require a steroid injection, he has nothing to offer.

A very arrogant individual. His interest are not the patient. As he gives out mid information and says sorry about your luck there’s not anything anyone can do. I hope he is reprehended for his violation of ethics. I suggest finding a different doctor and probably a different health care provider other than Kaiser.

I have a severe herniated disc with spinal stenosis. He has helped give much needed relief starting with the least invasive way. First doctor ready for the next step in treatment where I don’t have to beg for the next step. He gives me the ability to feel like I’m in control of my treatment where I don’t have to push to get the next step in MY treatment. So glad the amazing Dr. at the ER gave me a referral to him. Before that visit to the ER I couldn’t even get an appointment with my primary care doctor and I would have to wait days for a response via message. My gratitude to Dr. Terca for his assistance not only in getting a MRI after begging for over 2 months but also for the referral to Dr. Luong. I needed a refill on a nerve blocker that wasn’t due to refill till Thursday. Not only did he refill it but gave me enough of it to last more than just a couple weeks.

This specialty Physician is a poor excuse for a Dr. He lacks bedside manner is obtuse and uncaring and unsympathetic to my pain needs as a physician. He is one sided and is only interested in hearing himself talk. When I tried to explain my dilemma of pain he tried to hurry me while speaking to him cutting me off and only interested in what he had to say. He has this strange mannerism that when you try to speak he shrugs his shoulders as to appear hearing something from you which was distasteful. So weird and unprofessional. He appeared to be a very Cold man with hateful mannerisms.
