Dr. Hai-Yan Li, MD

Dr. Li has been getting bad reviews. The problem is not her, it is her support staff. They just suck. They make appointments without telling you. They cannot unzip an MRI file. They don't tell the Dr. about patient history sent by other Dr's. She needs to fire them all.

I was in so much back pain before I saw Dr. Li, I could hardly walk and was miserable. She got me in right away and listened to my problems. Took x-rays and did a thorough examination. Gave me several excellent suggestions for my back pain and than did an epidural which took away 90% of my back pain right away. I had never had an epidural before and did not know what to expect. But she explained every step to me before she proceeded. Highly recommend. (Please note that she does not prescribe narcotics but does prescribe non-narcotics medications to help with pain.)

waited 50 minutes past appointment time to see doctor after waiting several weeks to get an appointment. when will doctors/staff learn that patients have daily schedules and commitments also. no apology from doctor or staff. staff person (william) ran after me as i was leaving to tell me that doctor said i had a copay. my insurance requires no copay! even if it did i would not have paid a copay for a doctor that cannot keep a reasonable appointment time and did not see me! i expect more from scripps green hospital...

Dr. Hai-Yan Li immediately came in to the room with an opinion on what she thought my pain was attributed to without even waiting for the MRI results to comeback, then she disregarded the level of pain I was in and also made a statement about an unrelated issue I had on my file. She was unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. When the MRI results came in, her office scheduled me for an appt. to go over the results with Dr. Li 3 weeks out. It turns out that Dr. Li's initial verbalized opinion was inaccurate. I would not recommend anyone going to this Dr.

Excellent result. Pain free from L-4, L-5 and L-5, S-1 Injections .....was in excuriating pain due to slippage . Hai-Li the best.

I sustained catastrophic damage as a result of her wreckless techneque. There are levels of loss she cost me quality of life style, she created permanemt and chronic pathology and physical limitations increased pain. This during what should have been a routine injection for pain, distroyed my joint.
