Dr. Haiba J Sonyika, MD

I went to Dr Sonyika about 5-6 years ago dealing with some problems & for check ups. Not only was she just in a rush to throw me on medication , her staff was lazy. I was over charged plenty of time due to them not filing with my insurance. When I brought up the issue, they filed but did not want to give me my money back that I paid for out of pocket. I was told it would be a credit for my next visit. But every next visit was the same issue, they were also rude about THEIR MESS UP. Now, with Dr Sonyika, she would test me for 2 common things in EVERY women but not what was wrong with me. I also ended up going to emergency room, no thanks to her. Now 6 years later I’m having the same problems, which is bad for me. My new Doctor found it within 2 weeks of me being there. It’s so frustrating to have to put your trust in someone who only does half of the job. It’s tiring and draining as well. I spent ALOT of money. I hope her & her staff sees this and to do better, for the sake of every… woman that comes in for help.

Very Nice and Caring

This doctor was the first OBGYN to measure the length of my unborn baby I have been to 3 different ones and they didn't do that. She listened to what I had to say. Their office may be small but its how they treated me they got 5 stars.. even the lady who drew blood she was excellent and front desk lady was nice.

I really like how the staff treated me and my family but when it comes to communication and transferring of documents/information, this facility lacks the basic skills to give a good rating. I never get called back and they schedule me for appointments but don't have any record of the appointment that they scheduled me for. They don't even send the documents over to other facilities that they send you to for emergencies. All in all, I really feel like the Doctor should focus on ONE office so that she can help her patients in every step of their need.

This doctor is very rude to the people working with her and is unprofessional. Office made me feel uncomfortable. Will not go back.

Haiba Sonyika as an OB/GYN is incredible and her bedside manner is top rate. She herself is patient, gentle and very caring to your individual and family needs. She has a take charge attitude that really puts you at ease in her presence. The wait staff and office wait time however is a different story. Expect to wait three or more hours just to be called to the back and when you're back there add another hour to that. I truly feel that when she tightens up the front of the house her practice will be unmatched. All in all Sonyika is worth seeing best of all she employs every resort to ensure you have the exact delivery you desire and ensures your comfort to her every measure,
