My practice is full of happy and highly motivated people. I am always learning something new from my patients - from new music or movies, to a life philosophy - people talk about wonderful things in their daily interactions with my staff and me. That is what I love about my patients! The friendly, casual or deep conversations that are so human always make my day. Helping these amazing people to be healthier and happier is what I strive for every day.
Education and Continuing Education
To become a dentist, I first attained my BS in Biology from the University of Tampa. I then attended Tufts University, where I received my Dental Degree. Upon graduating from Dental School, I went on to Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami and completed the General Residency Program.  Although my formal dental education is complete, I always attend as many courses as I can in various fields of dentistry. Attending various seminars in my field satisfies my …appetite to learn new things, but my main goal is to keep up with the rapid changes taking place in dentistry. These may involve treatment methods, technologies or materials, and I always look for emerging developments that will benefit my patients.
Learning about these developments and mastering them enables me to provide my patients with alternative treatments that make life easier for them. Furthermore, learning these new developments helps me to find dental treatments that were not possible in the past.
Experience
After 17 years in practice, I still love getting to know my patients and helping them out. My primary motive is to help people. With my profession, I am able to achieve this goal by alleviating pain in my patients, restoring their mouth, and improving their lives by enhancing their smiles and helping them achieve optimum oral health, which can prevent other serious medical ailments. The most rewarding and gratifying thing for me is to hear the appreciation from my patients when I have helped them improve their condition.
You can ask anyone on my team, including myself, and we will tell you that we are very fortunate, because we get to do what we love. We all look forward to coming to our practice everyday. Not only do we enjoy what we do, we also enjoy each other and our patients. We make sure that we perform our duties with the utmost professionalism, but we also have a lot of fun doing so! Stress is not a word we are familiar with. Just like us, our patients are also very positive and enthusiastic people. It really is an awesome environment to be in.
There are two reasons why my team has become a team. Firstly, we all work for the same common purpose: helping people. Secondly, we believe being a team makes us more efficient, and we never feel stressed. Furthermore, being efficient enables us to provide an outstanding service to our patients. Because we practice this team philosophy, we are able to assist our patients with the services they require from the moment they walk in our practice.
