SUMMARY: Dr. Koudsi and her office lied to me about covering a charge in order for me to go through with a procedure and have since not returned my calls and not followed up with me. FULL DESCRIPTION: I saw Dr Koudsi to remove a 2mm mole, and she told me that she was going to submit to my insurance to see if they would cover the procedure. After my insurance declined via mail because it was benign, Dr. Koudsi’s office said I would have to schedule another appointment with her if I wanted to see how much it would cost to remove it, even though I already saw her regarding it. Dr. Koudsi told me an exorbitant amount to remove a 2mm mole. When I was deciding to go through with it, Dr. Koudsi noticed that I was disappointed by how expensive the removal was, and quote said “we will cover the charge from the Lab for the pathology” in order to convince me to go through with it. The receptionist who took my transaction also repeated the same statement when I paid. When I received the bill… from the lab, I called Dr. Koudsi’s office to make sure they were going to take care of it and the Office Manager said that they never pay for it and I would be responsible. I have since left 3 messages for Dr. Koudsi to call me back, and she, nor any of her staff members, have returned my calls. It is frustrating that Dr. Koudsi and her office lied to me about covering a charge in order for me to go through with a procedure. It is even more frustrating for them to back out, not return my calls, and not follow up with me, especially when the office and Dr. Koudsi are open and operating in normal capacity. I would not recommend her for any office visit or procedure.

I needed to see a derm. and Dr Koudzi's staff got me in immediately, they were all very nice and professional, no waiting, got in and was seen by Dr K, right away. Dr K is very attentive and cared about my issue. She explained everything and took necessary tests to confirm my diagnosis, I liked this very much and have found a good dermatologist.
