Dr. Hala Moustafa, MD

Dr. Moustafa was the first psychiatrist I've seen, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I've been seeing her for over a year now and have zero complaints. Dr. Moustafa is always very attentive to what you tell her, and works with you to come to a solution that will help. Whenever you have any questions, she is more than happy to explain anything you need explained. Even if you don't have any questions in mind, Dr. Moustafa will still ask if there is anything you would like to ask her or talk about, and that's great! You can tell she really cares about her patients! It's always a pleasure speaking with her. Thank you!!

Dr. Moustafa started seeing my mother about a year ago. My mother has chronic pain and underlying health conditions which are a major contributing factor to her depression. I pushed her to see psychiatrist, especially because she takes a multitude of medications and a specialist would know how to work with her specific circumstances. Dr. Moustafa adjusted her depression and anxiety meds in a way that greatly improved my mother's mood and tolerance for daily activities. She is an excellent listener. She makes you feel heard and seen and she respects your feelings. She is intelligent and experienced. I tell everyone I know that they should see Dr. Moustafa for any mental health needs.
