Dr. Haleh Ebrahimi, OD

Dr. Haleh Ebrahimi graduated from The University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and went on to pursue her Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in FT. Lauderdale, Florida. While pursuing her undergraduate, Dr. Ebrahimi was a part of the research team at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute’s McKnight Vision Center under nationally published Dr. Sanjoy Bhattacharya. During this time, she assisted with research on the protein Cochlin in Glaucoma patients. While in Nova Southeastern University's Optometry School, Dr. Ebrahimi did an externship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute where she trained extensively in complicated pathology of the eye.Upon finishing Optometry school, Dr. Ebrahimi went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she completed her Optometric Residency in Ocular Disease. Dr. Ebrahimi has also been published in two pristine posters; Post-Fix Chiasm Pituitary Lesion with Unilateral Temporal Hemianopsia and Time Sensitive Cytomegalovirus …Retinitis which have been successful with the help of her practice. For the last nine years, Dr. Ebrahimi has been practicing Optometry and is skilled in treating and diagnosing diseases of the eye and visual system. Dr. Ebrahimi has a Texas Optometric Glaucoma Specialist license and is trained in the use and interpretation of OCT, HRT, VF, Corneal Topography, Pentagram, and Retinal Camera, certified in injections and CRT as well as the fitting of soft contact lenses, hard contact lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses.
