I have been a patient of Dr. Haerian for the past 15 years. My experience with her during this time has been solely a doctor-patient relationship. This rating reflects my personal experience as her patient and my overall assessment of Dr. Haerian’s professionalism, clinical expertise, and quality of care. From my first appointment, Dr. Haerian demonstrated exceptional clinical knowledge, communication skills, and genuine concern for my well-being. She always takes the time to listen carefully to my symptoms and concerns, explains diagnoses and treatment options clearly, and involves me in decision-making regarding my care. She makes me feel both respected and well-informed. Dr. Haerian shows strong attention to detail and has found issues in my medical records that others have missed. Her explanations are thorough yet easy to understand, and she always welcomes questions without making the interaction feel rushed. She listens to any concerns I might have regarding my disease and/or… treatments. She also explains the diagnosis and treatment options available in a clear, understandable way. I especially appreciate her diligence in follow-up care, including reviewing test results promptly and adjusting treatment plans when necessary. In addition to her clinical strengths, Dr. Haerian maintains a professional manner. She makes me feel comfortable and respected. She is direct and to the point which is a quality I appreciate and respect, for her role is to diagnose and treat my illnesses rather than engage in social niceties—such exchanges are better reserved for friends. Her empathy, patience, and ability to build trust sets a high standard for the quality care that she provides. Based on my long term experience, I do confidently rate Dr. Haerian as an excellent physician who consistently delivers high-quality medical care. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate healthcare provider and believe that she is an asset to UPMC healthcare organization and I do not know what I would do without her.

Dr. Haerian-Ardakani has been professional and proficient in all my visits these last several years. Her medical knowledge is thorough, and her explanations are direct, well spoken and accurate. She has research experience, and that positively affects her excellent understanding and judgement. She is quite busy yet answers my questions thoroughly. To the folks who expressed displeasure, I respectfully suggest they would give her another chance. Also, your medical treatment is your responsibility. Get educated about your condition and ask questions. She is amenable to suggestions and requests if it would benefit you, her patient. Since best wishes to you all.

She is rude, makes me afraid to say one word. I am nervous for weeks at the thought of going to see her.

Very ignorant bed side manner. Would not approve of her.

I've had several tests, treatments and ongoing medication orders done by her, and have absolutely no reason to question her clinical competency. Her office has always reviewed all outcomes timely and made adjustments as necessary. Everything is always explained and any questions are answered. She's not a "hand-holder," but she's not brusk, either. I'd send my family to her without hesitation.

One visit and I will NEVER go back to her again!

I read the other reviews and I don't see her as rude at all. She is straight to the point, no nonsense, and doesn't waste your time with idle conversation. She addresses every concern I bring to her and answers all my questions. I am very happy with the care she provides.
