Dr. Hameed Farrokhrooz

Left me in excruciating pain after wisdom tooth removal. The tooth was impacted (hadn't started to break through the gum line) and sideways, so he had to cut through the gum and stitch it back up. Then he decided a little Tylenol 3 and some Motrin would be fine to manage the pain. I've asked around and every other person I talked to was given proper painkillers without having to ask when they got a wisdom tooth out, even for a simple extraction, let alone a complicated surgical one like mine! After sobbing through a sleepless night, I had no choice but to go to a different dentist in hysterics. The new dentist told me that he would have approached the surgery "very differently," which makes me wonder whether Dr. Farrokhrooz' method was outdated and part of why I was in such awful pain. I'm not a wuss about pain either- I've treated several broken bones and dislocations with simple OTC Motrin and meditation. My new dentist couldn't figure out why in the world he hadn't given me anything… narcotic, as every other dentist in the world automatically prescribes painkillers for ANY wisdom tooth extraction. This was just cruel and unusual. I also didn't appreciate being treated like a junkie (despite NO history of addiction or drug-seeking) for wanting relief from the pain of oral surgery. Don't go here! They don't give a darn about how much pain you're in, even if they caused it!
