Dr. Hamik Biramian, DO

I am a chronic pain patient, 26 years old, who no longer wishes to take narcotics for pain. Latley i have been falling over due to issues with my leg either going numb or jurking randomly. Over my entire body i have severe twitching that can be stopped if i focus on it. Having fallen a couple times, causing pain in my head, shoulder, and back, my wife decided i needed to go to the ER. My entire ordeal with this DO consisted of him insinuating that I was a drug seeker, and that because my twitching would stop when focusing on something that this was not an emergent problem. This is including my wife and I telling him that I had a severe headache and had fallen and hit my head, he had no care about this issue. He was completely dismissive of my compaints. This DO then ordered toradol to be given, however due to other medications taken, this combination was contraindicated. This Doctor, is the first one that i have been so offended by that I left the hospital. Being a young chronic… pain patient, I am accustomed to being called a drug addict / seeker. The reason for leaving was the complete lack of care with regards to falling and injuring my should and head, only to be told I should not be in the ER because I am not "Emergent".
