Dr. Hamlet Davari, DDS

Starting with Susie, the office manager, she is awesome in every way, so is Margaret. All of Dr. Davari's staff is professional, pleasant and efficient. I enjoyed meeting Dr. Hamlet Davari and his wife. Both professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. I had my teeth cleaned by Jennifer. She, too, is very professional. I would recommend this office. I stopped going to them because as a low-income senior, I must keep my expenses low and wanted to pay off my bill before proceeding, not because I was displeased with them.

I have seen many dentists in the last 18 years in So Cal and Doctor Davari is by far the kindest, most honest, most gentle and most competent dentist I have gone to. His office is warm, friendly and familiar. The ladies are always smiling and very helpful and professional. I went by the recommendation of my coworker who heard me complaining about my track record with different dentists and how I was being charged an arm and a leg for work I probably didn't need. He said he and his wife had been going to Dr Davari for years and promised me that he would be different. I am very happy I took the advice.

I have never been treated as poorly by an office manager as I have today when I attempted to obtain a referral for my toddler to see a pediatric dentist through this office (I have an HMO that requires kids to have an adult dentist as a primary assignment). Suzie, the office manager, was beyond rude, dismissive, and outright offensive. She refused to speak to the insurance representative to answer her as to why she refused to 1) schedule an appt for my daughter to get the referral or 2)bypass the appt and request the referral. I can only imagine how horrible it would be to deal with her in the event of a billing error (should one arise) on down the line. Dr. davar may be a great dentist, but his support staff has a direct influence on the overall experience, and mine was terrible. I will look elsewhere for a dental provider.
