Dr. Hammam Darweesh Zmily, MD

Dr. Hammam D. Zmily has been a practicing Interventional Cardiologist, specializing in Cardiac and Vascular Diseases, in the state of Michigan since 2014.

Hammam is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He also holds board certifications in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac Computed Tomography and ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.

Hammam completed his medical school education at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He went on to complete his internship and residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He was then elected to do an extra year of chief residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center where he worked as a junior faculty. He then finished his Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Training Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Hammam is a member of the American …College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, American Heart Association, American Medical Association and Michigan State Medical Societies.

In July 2013, Hammam was elected to be the chief interventional cardiology fellow at Detroit Medical Center.

Today, Hammam works at Premier Cardiovascular Consultants as a practice owner, interventional and endovascular specialist. He is also the director of the cardiovascular division at Zmily Health Group.
