Dr. Hana L. Tepper, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Hana Tepper's for about 10 yrs. Her staff has never made me feel welcome, but I always overlooked it. Today is the last straw though. I have never been subjected to such unprofessional, reprehensible behavior by hospital staff (or a licensed physician) in my life. And Dr. Hana Tepper condones her staff's behavior. I know this because when I complained to her about their behavior again today (I was there for an appt.) , she "fired" me from her patient list and refused to see me for my appt I had made with her! Yes, she made me leave her office and refused to treat me. My granddaughter was with me and heard her staff insult me and she began crying. I am disgusted and appalled by this behavior.

Dr Tepper and her whole office team have poor patient interaction skills. I rarely get to see Dr Tepper but when I do she is rude and condescending. She seems to set the tone for the whole team. I am most often delegated to the nurse practioner who is terrible, rude and just wants to give you meds and shove you out the door ASAP. I will be finding a new doctor.

Dr Tepper is thorough and very pleasant.

Once again I have only positive things to say about the way I was treated when I came down with the flu. Tamara got back to me so quickly and she answered all my questions after talking to Dr Tepper.

I agree with many of the other comments here about the office staff. They are rude and not helpful. They are not the type of people who should be in those positions. I will be finding a new doctor because of my experience with the office staff.

I've seen Dr. Tepper a few times now. Each time she has no problems listening to my every concern, but I prep for visits by writing down every issue I want to discuss, then I don't let her leave until I'm done. She really seems to appreciate this, and I think it helps make the visit more productive. She is less hands-on the older doctors I've had; she relies more on my answers to her questions and blood work results. This is ok by me.

I was a patient of her father's for 25 years before I switched to Hana. I was one of her first patients. She has always been attentive and remembers me and my ailments every visit.

Horrible office staff. Not friendly and extremely rude. I am switching doctors due to this.

The worse staff I have ever seen or heard of. Asked a lot of my clients about their experiences with their doctor, they could not believe mine, with dr. Tempers staff!

Dr. Hana Tepper is a little unconventional, she doesn't always wear a "white coat". I have found her to be caring and knowledgeable. I don't need my doctor to fit convention, as long as she knows her stuff and Hana Tepper knows her stuff! She has never ever been rude to me or displayed any of the behavior mentioned in some of the posts. Some of those posts seem to suggest that because there are similar posts in support of her, they must be written by the same person. It almost seems to me that the negative posts could have all been written by the same person.
