Dr. Hanane Chichane, MD

I have taken several children to see Dr. Chichane and she has been very caring and understanding with each one of them. She takes time to talk with them and truly understands their issues. If you have ever been to any other psychiatrist then you would truly appreciate what a gem Dr. Chichane really is. I am shocked that anyone would give less than 5 stars as caring, understanding and patient psychiatrists are rare. The office staff have always been very kind and professional. I have witnessed people be extremely ugly to these ladies and they always remain professional...I would have popped off on them and been fired...but they always put forth a positive attitude even when the person should have been escorted out the door! People need to understand when a doctor is in high demand it always takes time to get an appointment but I will tell you Dr. Chichane is worth the wait and you and your loved ones will be glad you waited!

When I say worth the wait, I mean it. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Chichane for over a year now. We did have to wait to see her as she is in such high demand that she only accepts new patients at certain times of the year. She is absolutely amazing with my daughter. Per the comment above for "loading you with more pills".. She is a Psychiatrist and her job is to provide medication management. When we first started seeing her, my daughter was on all the wrong medications and after 8 suicide attempts, she had genetic testing completed which pointed us in the exact direction of the medication that would balance out her genetic make-up! Each visit is wonderful. She really gets to know her patients and spends just the right amount of time to understand the history and needs. She also works wonders for the parents of these adolescents who are just as lost as their children after going through the trauma of mental health issues. Dr. Chichane deserves MORE than 5 stars. From one… forever thankful Mother of a 16 year old daughter who was almost forever 14!

She is a nice Doctor. Very gentle, she knows how to treat crazy people.

I would and do recommend Dr. Chichane. She is current on medical advances yet studies and reviews them prior to recommendation. I find her to be very attentive and truthful as well as knowledgeable. Appointments are available within a reasonable amount of time. Her staff is helpful, reliable and will suggest calling you back if they are not for certain of the correct response. Her staff returns calls as promise and are friendly. Dr. Chichane very aware when introducing new meds and insist that you follow up in a timely manner to see how you are reacting. I have seen her for over 3 years and I am continuously impressed with the help and care she has provided me.

This doctor has a bad habit of discussing current patients with other patients. I do not trust her.Also, office visits usually consist of five minutes, rating your mood on a scale of 1-10, and increasing or adding medication. No bedside manner, her tone feels like a burn-out. Look elsewhere, especially if you value your privacy.

Dr. Chichane is always prepared when we arrive for our appointment and remembers exactly what medications my children are taking. She will return a phone call the same day and never make you feel as if it is an inconvenience but more that she is truly concerned for her patient. She is the kindest and most understanding doctor that I have ever had for my children and I would recommend her to any person, adult or child, for treatment.
