Dr. Hans B. Miller, MD

I am confused by the negative reviews for Dr. Hans Miller, so I wanted to share my experience so that potential patients have another perspective to consider. I have never found the staff, administrative or nursing, to be anything but professional and caring. As for Dr. Miller, he and I weren't on the same page or even in the same book to begin with! I know that some patients feel that the only approach he recommends is to lose weight and try Tai Chi and the truth is that exercise is essential when treating chronic pain and maintaining a healthy weight is recommended for all patients! With that said; once I stopped being defensive, argumentative even, I realized that Dr. Miller actually does show up for me and that he truly does care and is quick and willing to explore a variety of treatment methods, if I express my symptoms clearly, and in detail. He simply expects me to show up, for myself, as much as he is willing to do and that seems more than reasonable to me.

Dr. Miller is a wonderful doctor and really cares for his patients. He has been instrumental in allowing my mother to have quality of life as he helps to manage her pain. I can't say enough good things about him and my mother loves him.

Terrible , Rude , Pain Dr. ., Never Use Dr Miller ...

I find doctor Miller and his office staff to be very caring and compassion I greatly enjoy my visit with doctor Miller he takes the time to explain any question you may have more doctors should be as diligent as he is

Dr Miller know that it takes more than just sitting around waiting for the medication to fix everything

I’ve been on opioids, NSAIDs, Lyrica for 50 years--crushed spine, unable to walk or do daily work because of pain WITHOUT small amount of opioids. Been on SAME amt for last 40 years. I cried once as I was new to Georgia and put me in an involuntary psych hospitalization! Two months ago out of NOWHERE he cut my meds in half! He’s a power hungry jerk.

He will work with your pain issues if you are willing to manage it and be truthful with your medical history.

I have been going to Dr miller for 2 years with back problems.his staff are all nice and friendly.Dr Miller has always been very nice to me.he does great with the nerve ablation and epidural for my back.always takes time to talk and explain everything to me]

What an absolute jerk. The previous doctor I was seeing here left the practice for a better job in Atlanta. (I can't blame him, he was a nice guy). As a result all of Dr. Panjeton's patients were dumped on Dr. Miller. This guy is not qualified for this position. Assuming i'd need to re-explain my condition since it's a new doctor, I brought all my documentation and medications. I heard him talking about me to the nurse before he even saw my face for the first time. I have a rare heart condition which causes me a great deal of chest pain. Some of the best doctors in the state have referred me to pain management as it is currently uncurable. The man obviously had no idea what this illness even was, since he said he probably had it too along with all of his staff. He immediately treated me like some junkie (probably due to my age) and was very disrespectful. I explained to him what the previous doctor had me taking and my treatment plan. He said "I don't care what Dr. Panjeton did."… He didn't even offer me any alternative medications to treat my pain. I even asked about non-controlled ones. I basically was told to stop coming there and that he would not treat me. So, now, here I am with zero pain control. Another visit to the Emergency Room (who thought it was also crazy what this guy did), because the pain got so severe and I have nothing to help it. My pain has caused me to lose massive amounts of weight due to souring my appetite as well. He didn't even do a physical exam. I've never broken my pain contract nor done anything to break the rules of the program. This man should not be practicing medicine. No compassion or understanding. In his eyes, i'm just a young guy in there trying to get medications for enjoyment.

The most hateful human and least concerned, least caring Dr. I have ever met! He treated me like a dog!! I wish I had read these comments before I went.
