Dr. Schmidt and his team is AMAZING! My consultation was very educational and Dr. Schmidt took his time and answered every question I had giving me confidence that I was making the best decision of my life! It's been 10 days since surgery and things are going well. 13 pounds down in 10 days!!

This doctor except my insurance to put in my lapband n refuse to then help me when it majorly slipped he made me go to er on the day his partner was there then had severe issues after that n doctor Schmidt ignored all my issues n refused to help me. I have been under care of great doctors that r cleaning up the mess Schmidts n his partner don't to me. Don't deal with them it's all about ur money he got way to big for himself n he does not care about your overall health or u

Dr. Schmidt is a very knowledgeable surgeon he is well spoken but his bedside manner could use some improvement. That being said I would still recommend him to anyone if your life depends on it. his office staff is very courteous and all seem to care about your outcome. I can truly say that Dr. Schmidt saved my life. If your thinking about having weight reduction surgery I highly recommend him.

The patients are triple booked and the office runs an average of 3 hours behind schedule. We are looking for another bariatric program as a result.
