Dr. Hara Berger, DO

Dr. Hara Berger is an absolutely fantastic endocrinologist! She is a leader in the field and an expert in thyroid conditions! She saved me from another doctor who wanted to radiate my thyroid unnecessarily. I will always be indebted to her. Best doctor ever! 10/10. I would give her 100 stars if I could!

Wanted $500.00 just to speak with the "doctor". Just disgusting.

I had a first Doctor's Appointment with Dr. Hara R. Berger 3 weeks ago. When I first called the office to schedule and appointment I left a message and to my surprise in less than 10 minutes I was getting a call back. But my second surprise was when Dr. Berger was the one that walked me to the room on the day of the appointment. I was very impressed with Dr. Berger. I am very happy with her because she spends enough time with the patient. There are no unanswered questions, doubts or confusion. She is very capable and professional, a brilliant doctor. The staff is remarkable! Thanks for your excellent care. I would recomend Dr. Berger to anyone and everyone. O. M.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Berger and cannot begin to express my gratitude. She is not only truly knowledgeable, but more importantly she has been extremely kind, empathetic, and comforting during my journey to conceive. I interacted with several doctors following a non-viable first pregnancy, and Dr. Berger truly stood out due to her compassion and knowledge. She returned my calls immediately, even after hours, and took the time to carefully and clearly explain my options all the while being incredibly reassuring. She has a clear grasp on the latest medical research, but is able to explain information to her patients in a way that is digestible and not overwhelming. Now halfway through a healthy pregnancy, I could not recommend Dr. Berger more highly.

I had been suffering for years with weight gain (despite healthy diet) and general fatigue. A friend recommended I see Dr. Berger and I took her advice and saw Dr. Berger this week.. I am a fairly complicated patient, but she spent almost an hour with me in her office going through my symptoms, medical history, talking through old labs and coming up with a plan of action. She is among the most down to earth and knowledgeable Doctors I have ever come across. I did wait over 30 minutes to be seen, but now I understand why. She really takes as much time as she needs to with her patients.

Amazing endocrinologist! Dr. Berger is smart, caring, and takes her time with you. She wants her patients to understand the causes of their symptoms and find the best treatment option, tailored to each patient’s specific needs. The office staff is also wonderful and on top of everything. I highly recommend Dr. Berger and her office if you are looking for excellent care.

Dr. Rosen is so personable you just want to hug her! She understands and diagnoses the problems without just giving you pills and sending you home! I love her and wish all my doctors were like her...

I had seen several endocrinologists before seeing Dr Berger roughly 4 weeks ago. Dr Berger spent almost an hour with me reviewing previous labs, talking through my medical history, patiently listening as I explained my thyroid-related issues that have plagued me for years. I have never had that kind of an experience before with any physician. Fast forward four weeks and I am feeling so much better thanks to her patience and expertise. Dr. Berger is a real gem, both as a Doctor and as a person. She really sets the bar very high.

Dr. Berger literally saved me! She was the third endocrinologist in Miami that I went to for my thyroid problem, and she was the ONLY one who actually listened to me and helped make a custom treatment plan for exactly what I had going on, instead of just pulling out the same treatments used on every other patient with Graves’ Disease. She uses a combination of evidence based medicine and compassion to treat her patients, and I am just so lucky to have her as my doctor. The office is a welcoming place, and the staff is always so kind and helpful. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars for each category, because that is what she deserves. I am grateful that I didn’t settle for those other endocrinologists, and held out for the best. Thank you, Dr. Berger!
