Dr. Hardeep Singh, MD

I saw Dr. Singh as my prior Gastroenterologist had retired. I had been diagnosed with pre Barrett's , a form of pre esophageal cancer. I was advised to be on omeprazole 40 mg in the am and 20 mg in the pm for a year and then another upper endoscopy to see if the pre Barrett's had improved or worsened. Of course my family and I were extremely concerned about this pre cancer. The day of my endoscopy with Dr. Singh he never saw me until after the procedure. It was a busy day so I was put in a wheel chair and placed behind a curtain waiting for him to tell me and my wife the results. He showed up never introduced himself or shook my hand. He just said " you are fine and you can go." I said I was told I had pre Barrett's by biopsy last year. He said " you don' t have any thing wrong with you." I said what about a follow up appointment? He said " you can go " and acted like my prior gastroenterologist didn't know what he was talking about even with the biopsy and the pathology report saying… pre Barrett's. What he didn't t know is that I am a provider and refer ALL of my patients to Digestive Disease Center because of the excellent care they have received in the past and the reports they give me in feed back. I did have one patient I referred to DDC to see a gastroenterologist ASAP and it was Dr. Singh. When the patient came back they were furious with me and said they would never go back to DDC because of the way they had been treated by Dr. Singh. I for one have experienced the same attitude from him as if I was bothering him and wasting his time. He didn't have a concern about my concerns over my personal health issues. I will continue to refer my patients ti DDC but NEVER will any of my patients be seen by Dr. Singh. I have always said I would not refer a patient of mine to someone I would not go to. Dr. Singh is one that I will never go to again and none of my patients will either.

An excellent doctor great person he is with great knowledge and a great human being, Some people may be very nice but do not have your best interests at heart Dr Singh has your best interests at heart.

Dr. Singh seemed totally unconcerned with my symptoms. He seemed bored and dismissive. Will not be seeing him again.

I have had over 8 appointments with Dr.Singh yet I have only seen him twice. The first time was my first appointment and the second time was just before I had a colonoscopy. Every other time I have seen his nurse practitioner, who is not a very friendly person.

Dr. Singh has been treating me for Ulcerative Colitis for years. When I first starting going to DDC, I was very sick. He has kept my flares at bay, with the right medicine, so I can lead a normal life. He takes time to listen to what I have to say and gives me the facts. I trust and recommend him entirely.

terrible experience. poor doctor

Dr. Singh is a nightmare. I had been suffering with "mysterious" GI problems for close to a year, and was finally, after months of waiting, able to obtain an appointment with him. He walked into the room, stated, "So, you're here about your IBS?" and proceeded to either ignore or patronize me and everything I said. He then asked me about my home-life and if I had ever seen a psychiatrist, and made me start crying. Less than a month later, I saw a highly rated GI doctor who ran a comprehensive blood test on me that confirmed I had been going untreated for ulcerative colitis--the same disease my mother has. If I had listened to Dr. Singh, I'd still be suffering, and he'd still be prescribing me yet another antispasmodic. If you value your health, go elsewhere.

I saw these reviews after my appointment was already scheduled and I almost cancelled. I must say I had a different experience that what others spoke of. He was very knowledgeable but also very to the point which I like. I guess some people might take it as arrogant but I saw it as straight forward with no fluff. I would be happy to see him again.

My Crohn's was under control, but had moved to the area and needed a doctor here. He was easy to get into (I should've known). He changed up my medications, and my health deteriorated. He refused to change my medications back. He treated me like I had not had the disease for 10 years and didn't know what i was talking about. He took blood at every visit and repeated told me to go home and wait for the other medication to work. I finally flew to my previous doctor in another city. With-in 48 hours of my last appointment with Dr. Singh and less than a week after another appointment, my blood test was bad enough to be hospitalized. He does not listen to his patients and it could've turned out much worse for me if I hadn't trusted my instinct.
