Dr. Harlan Beaver Daubert, MD

Can say nothing but good. After two other doctors' (both neurologists) surgical efforts failed completely he diagnosed my problem, performed two-level fusion surgery, and today 3 1/2 months later, I'm substantially better, and as time goes on expect even further improvement. My only regret is that I spent more than a year letting these other doctors fool with my well-being. Thank God for Dr. Daubert.

This man did surgery on my mom last Fri. A laproscopic surgery on her spine. He knew my mom had heart problems and is pacemaker dependent and has a watchman device. He should have done a chest xray before my moms surgery to check for fluid in the lungs and to check for any issues before he did her surgery. He did the surgery and sent her home right afterwards. He knew better, he should have kept her overnight like it was recommended. Around 4am sat morning my mom woke up, she couldn't breathe and my dad had to call 911. The ems had to put a cpack on her and it was kept on her for 5 hrs. They did a chest xray and blood work. Her lungs were full, volume overload and she developed a bacteria infection. She is still in the hospital and has had at least 10 bags of antibiotics, still on oxygen, and who knows what the long term affects will be. The dr came in yesterday and we asked why haven't they checked her surgery site or put a new bandage on. His response was we don't do that and we… can't take it off here. He also told us this man was not coming to see my mom and his office has not contacted my mom for any follow up and who the hells going to remove or change that bandage. This dr knew good and well my mom has heart issues and they pushed to much fluids in her (not the dr) and he (the dr) just sent her home. My mom has been so sick and finally had a good day yesterday thx to the staff at Forsyth 8th floor. I would never go see this man again and he better reach out to us and he better take care of my mom. She was fine before she had surgery, the heart Dr gave the ok, and he just didn't care about my mom. I don't care how old a patient is, you will respect and take care of my mom as long as she's your patient. My mom called 3 days ago no one has contacted her.

I have never experienced a doctor with such a horrible bedside manner. He walked out of the room when I was speaking to him. I was mid-sentence and he just opened the door and walked out for about 30 seconds. When doing his exam, he could clearly see I was in pain and he continued to push and press to the point that I was almost crying. I will never go back to him again.

I have known Dr Daubert for over 10 years .He has performed 4 surgeries on me successfully which raised my quality of life.He has spent enough time with me where he asks about my life and family and that means a lot. He is not only a good doctor spending enough time to explain everything so I understand , but also is a good person. Tim Kiger

Avoid this surgeon at all costs if you would like to have a nice quality of life and ability to walk normally after spinal surgery!

Dr. Daubert is the consummate doctor. He is professional in every detail and I would have no other doctor treat my neck pain.

It is 2016, so read this posting. I waited three months to have an appointment with Doctor Harlan B. Daubert. Time period / waiting room 20 min/ room 15/ then xrays taken of spine area/ waited another 15/ 20/ twenty minutes for Dr. Daubert. I explained to Dr. Daubert the severe pain I was suffering in my lower spine ares and that there was a continuous swelling an also a centered knot in the area to my spine. I also had explained that I had some degenerative disc disease at the L5-S1 level. Dr. Daubert never looked at the area in question or pursue examine me in any form. He sat in a chair opposite to me with his head propped upon his hand as he was elbowed up on the table for support. He appeared not to care or even be present to the situation. I continued to talk hoping to spark an awareness of the situation to no advance. He assured me there was no change in my xray and recommended a supplement . Then circles L2-3 on my chart. I t is my opinion that Dr. Daubert seek… another profession, for when the passion of what we do is not present anymore we are no longer equipped for the job, thus leaving the patient to suffer. Caring for the ill in any capacity, is a challenging profession, so it takes one of dedication and perseverance . My pain still comes and goes at the same degree, my heighten concern is Dr. Daubert not performing an exam. This is unimaginable and incomprehensible.

A typical doc in a box @ Orthocarolina, wants to push spinal injections and have you do physical therapy, if I were capable of doing physical therapy I would not be seeing a doctor and no to several thousand dollar spinal blocks, THE END!

I am going to see him for the first time today 12/30/2014. I've read good reviews on Dr. Daubert and my doctor recommended him.

Dr Daubert gave me my life back. I had a 5 level fusion in my lower back. I'm coming up on my 3 year anniversary of my surgery. Prior to surgery I couldn't even stand up straight and was leaning to my right. Just going to the grocery store was an ordeal. I was in incredible pain and often my right leg would completely give out and if I didn't sit down, I would fall down. At 64 years of age, I am now working part-time and taking care of my home alone. The greatest joy is being able to play with my new grandson. Thank you Dr Daubert for the quality of life you gave me! I feel blessed to have had you for my surgeon. I'll always be grateful for the miracle you performed!!!!
