Dr. Harlan Paul Wichelhaus, MD

Takes his time and never rushyour visit.

Dr. Wichelhaus is awesome. Him and his staff have always treated me with the utmost respect. They treat me like a person and not just another patient. I wish he could be my primary care physician. He listened to me about my thyroid issues and the research I did for myself and was not offended that I educated myself about Hypothyroidism and other health issues. He is the ONLY Dr. that would prescribe Armour thyroid for me, and listen to my symptons and not tell me "well if you loose weight and exercise you will feel better." He knows what Hypothyroidism does to a person and how it affects them. All the other Dr.s would tell me " you are being treated well for you thyroid" and " your labs are normal" He caught that I was vitamin D deficient, nobody else would even test me for it. I absolutely love Dr. Wichelhaus and his staff.

I was very relieved to see, there are still doctors that have time for you as a patient to explain things and not rush you out the door just for the $$$

He is soooo nice and takes the time to talk to you and get to know you before you do an exam. He explains everything to you and is very gentle. I didn't have to wait long at all before being called back. He does not deliever babies, so you never have to worry about your appointment being cancelled because he had an emergency sea section or delivery. The office is very clean and I like that there is a poster on the ceiling! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a good doctor!
