Dr. Harland Douglas Simpson, MD

A family member of mine was dismissed for a trace amount of a sedative that was given to her during an emergency. And when they sent the letter saying they were dismissed, I called and told them what happened and they did not care at all! And they are suppose to (BY LAW, as by the Board Of Pharmacy Laws when dismissing someone from a long term pain treatment center for whatever reason) give them a 30 day tampering dose! It does'nt matter what reason you were dismissed for they have to give a 30 tampering dose! if not, this is called abandoning a patient! If you have been done like this just go to the Board Of Pharmacy and make a complaint! This IS MEDICAL MALPRACTICE! This place is just a PILL MILL for anyone who will pay! And this not accepting any insurance and paying only by check, is not to leave a (PAPER TRAIL) for the illegal activity! I know of three people that are drug dealers that go there, and they are already being investigated in Kentucky, (THE SIMPSON CLINIC) that is!

I have a significant amount of neck and back injuries along with A very rare disease. My first appointment I was treated so nice however I found it very pricey. Then I have to go back in a little bit over two weeks which was today. The first appointment was over $300 next appointment over $200 I had a very rare incident that happened the night before I had set my humidifier up on my nightstand I was not breathing very well I was getting ready for bed I opened my pain medicine along with my melatonin that Dr. Simpson suggested that I take I have to be responsible and take some responsibility for my situation I had got up to use the restroom and get a bottle of water my puppy knocked over my humidifier it fell on top of my medication it’s spilled over and most of it soaked I immediately ran to get towels once I realized what happened I took photos when I went in for my appointment yesterday I took the medication with me explained everything and the photos and Dr. Simpson did not even… have enough for suspect to see me personally look at the photos or let me explain instead I was dismissed and I was told by my check in nurse she was new to this she did not write down everything that I told her and then she said she had to show it to Dr. Simpson before I knew it I was dismissed I paid with a certified check then I was supposed to say stupid from the office staff I brought in a certified check then they told me they’re not sure how long it will take but they’ll get me a refund and they were going to take $57 out of my check for my urine test thing when they explain to me right before I got dismissed my urine test are paid by my insurance company that they made me provide them I am so disappointed and Dr. Simpson I understand that there are people that abuse their medication or even sell it that’s not my case he did not even take a moment to speak to me face-to-face or even discuss my blood work That was done on my previous appointment and give me results I felt so humiliated on top of my injuries suffered from a very rare painful muscle disease I believe I was wrongfully dismissed and I was treated so poorly he could not even do it himself he made his new hire Nurse do the dirty work then when I went out front escorted by the nurse you would’ve Thought Check out receptionist was a bouncer in a club she was as rude as she could be I have never been so humiliated and treated so poorly in any medical facility The way I was treated he’s got quite the practice going on lots of cash flowing and not having to wait on insurance and is not willing to really understand what his patients are going through and is not in a hurry to refund my money I thought he was the most wonderful understanding Caring Doctor on my first appointment as you could see the second appointment he would not even speak to me I had my medicine but it had gotten wet by accident I think you could’ve at least given me one chance have enough respect to speak to me face-to-face look at my medicine look at my photos but no all he ended up with was a note from his new nurse that said did not have the required medication count due to getting wet I automatically was assumed that I was doing something sneaky if he can collect that much cash then he should at least look at his patients in the face and do his own dirty work I’m sure there are people that do try to get away with bad things but that was not my case I’m still in shock yes it was my responsibility in reference to my medication but it was truly an accident so I guess I’ll have to go back to suffering have a new quality of life and living in deep depression again I truly can’t stand the people that ruined it for all of us that are really sick well I know what I got for my honesty and it was absolutely not forgiveness.

Have suffered with chronic shouldet and back pain for years. I finally decided to try a pain clinic and it has been an unbelievable experience for me. My pain is finally reduced to a level that makes life bearable and has improved my ability to enjoy outdoor activities again.

what the man said about Shannon and the male nurse dr Simpson you need to fire both of them I hear they have got you sued do the right thing and fire both of them

Dr.Simpson is a great Dr and his staff is Great!! He is compassionate about his patients and that means so much!! His Clinic as a whole is exceptional !!

I was recently dismissed by his nurse practitioner Shannon gardner went for a urine test that was sent to a north Carolina lab and 2 weeks later I got a letter in the mail stating that I had seboxone in my urine, called the lab in Carolina they said they would set up a meeting at the clinic for me to prove that I didn't have it in my urine because I ve never taken one in my life. Dr Simpson was good to me but someone in his staff has set me up, I don't no if it was Shannon or the man who watched me pee or it was switched to cover for a buddy. They the letter said I wasn't being truthful and honest with them under the cantract I signed. God no's and I no who is being dishonest here and he no's it's not me. I hope you get to read this Dr Simpson because they won't let me talk to you because they no their in trouble if you would do the right thing.

If you want high power drugs him and his wife are the way to go ! Long term he has no answers except more pills ! Him and his wife are getting rich off of the people and the state of Virginia is helping him ! Shame ! I’d never go back ! Quack
