I recently took my 7-year-old child to Henry Mayo hospital ER due to severe ear pain. Unfortunately, I must express my extreme disappointment with the level of care and attention we received during our visit. First and foremost, Dr. Harleen Grewal displayed a complete lack of empathy and rudeness towards both me and my child. It was evident from the moment we entered the consultation room that he had no interest in listening to our concerns or understanding the severity of the situation. To make matters worse, Dr. Harleen Grewal spent an incredibly brief time examining my child, barely lasting a minute. This rushed approach left me feeling unheard and my child feeling frightened and anxious. It's disheartening to witness a healthcare professional disregard the importance of thoroughly evaluating a patient, especially when the patient is a young child in pain. Furthermore, Dr. Harleen Grewal failed to address any of the questions or doubts I had as a concerned parent. Instead, he… seemed disinterested and unwilling to provide any explanations or guidance regarding the diagnosis or treatment options. This lack of communication and dismissive attitude only added to our frustration and left us feeling hopeless. As a parent, I believe it is crucial for doctors to create a safe and trusting environment where parents can openly express their concerns and children can feel comfortable. Unfortunately, Dr. Harleen Grewal fell short in all aspects of this fundamental aspect of healthcare. I strongly advise against seeking care from Dr. Harleen Grewal if you are looking for a compassionate, attentive, and professional practitioner who genuinely cares about their patients. Our experience with her left us feeling neglected and undervalued, which is the opposite of what we expect and deserve when seeking medical assistance for our loved ones.
