Do not go to her if you are an overweight woman. I was her patient for 4 years and presented with very classic symptoms of hypothyroidism and PCOS that she did not diagnose despite repeated blood tests. Instead, she zeroed in on the indicators as if they were separate and unrelated to each other in a person’s body. She spoke to me like I was an impertinent child, told me my lack of self control was the cause of my familial high cholesterol, sudden weight gain, and extreme mood swings, and she prescribed higher and higher doses of fish oil for elevated triglycerides. Once, I had an appointment with her after yet another blood test and when she glanced at my chart and saw an elevated triglycerides count, she sighed and threw up her hands in obvious exasperation and prescribed an even higher fish oil concentration to try to address it. This is terrible patient bedside manner. She does not seem to act on updated on medical research in a way that positively impacts her patients, and she… failed to diagnose and treat two of the most common conditions of women in the US. I left every appointment feeling like my body was broken and that I had no control over it. Once I moved out of state and sought medical care in my new home, I was finally able to receive caring, thoughtful, and responsive treatment for my symptoms. I did not know I deserved better treatment until I looked elsewhere.

Excellent physician...very intelligent and interested in patient's well being. Knowledgeable about wide variety of health issues. Focus on preventive care. Recommend.
