Doctor very nice and iformative

I have only had one consultation so hard to know if I would recommend the doctor at this stage but so far I like him. He iappears confident and does seem very busy.

my 68 yr old father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in las vegas, and did not know where to start to get help. he was unable to eat, was losing weight quickly, and struggling with his diabetes. i researched doctors, emailed dr. soukiasian through cedars-sinai website, and his assistant contacted me personally. this was a thursday. dr. soukiasian had his asst call me again friday, and spoke to me as well. my father was in his office the next monday. dr. s did the minimally invasive esophagectomy, and dad is doing well, drinking, and has no leaks after one week. the staff, dr. soukiasian's assistants, and especially dr. soukiasian were fabulous. he is not only an amazing surgeon, but also is very personable, and genuinely caring.

He is the most skilled surgeon (over 15 years of education and experience) that I've known. His colleagues refer to him as having hands with "personality" and "character". He has devoted his life to the entire field of surgery, in particular; cardio-thoracic surgery with a subspecialty in esophageal surgery. If you ever have the pleasure of meeting him, just remember, you are in good hands. Dr. Soukiasian is an umeasurable asset to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It has been an honor having him as my physician.
