Dr. Harminder Singh Mallik, MD

He was my dr 7 years ago and I was forced by him to take lithium despite horrible side effects while I was an inpatient. Recently I went into hospital and he was the psychiatrist there. I decided to give him a chance again but quickly regretted it. Not only is he rude and arrogant, but he doesn’t listen to his patients and intentionally triggered me into a serious relapse in my progress. I refused to deal with him after that and luckily the nurse practitioner at that hospital advocated for my discharge after 8 days. Steer clear of this “physician” he’s the worst dr I have ever encountered. Horrible that he’s even still practicing.

H. Mallik, MD has a horrible bedside manner. He is rude, is not compassionate and not professional at all. My daughter was discharged on medication that the psychiatrist she followed up with said was a terrible combination. I would advise no one who cares about their loved one or themself choose his as a physician.

I saw Dr. Mallik for an inpatient psychiatric issue in the spring of 2018 and he could not have been worse. He constantly cut me off while talking, told other patients he doesn't believe in ADHD, and overall had a condescending attitude that really impacted my recovery. Furthermore, he prescribed extremely strong medication that my home psychiatrist said he would never prescribe to someone in my condition. It was difficult to wean off these medications and they had a major impact on my stability during recovery. Overall, awful.

He is compassionate and he answers all my concerns without a second thought.

I owe him my life.
